Inside Story

The interior is fresh, stylish and filled with natural light which spills in through the French windows and skylights. Overlooking the terrace and garden to the front, the open plan living area has a lovely squashy leather sofa, dining table for two and a cosy wood burner for cooler evenings.

The whole interior is calm and serene in cream décor with a mezzanine bedroom accessed via a steep open tread stair. Set into the eaves it is snug and romantic with pocket sprung bed, crisp linens and beautiful designer fabrics. The contemporary shower room is on the ground floor with double shower and fluffy towels, bath robes and toiletries from nearby St Kitts Herbery.

Outdoor Living

South facing with a lawn and terrace, the garden is the perfect place to soak up some sunshine or relax in the shade of the apple tree. There is a bistro table and barbecue plus two super comfy rattan loungers, ideal for catching up with a good book.

Out and About

Cider Barn sits within a little hamlet of barns in rural north Cornwall, surrounded by rolling countryside. Just under a mile away the village of Chapel Amble is home to a foodie pub, The Maltsters Arms whilst there are local shopping facilities at St Kew Highway around 2 miles distant.

There are beaches galore in this corner of Cornwall – choose from Rock, Polzeath or dog friendly Daymer Bay. Just over five miles away, coastal cutie Port Isaac has a great choice of pubs, cafes and seafood restaurants, including Restaurant Nathan Outlaw. Alternatively catch the little ferry from Rock over to Padstow and enjoy a day of browsing galleries, shopping and lunching!
If you enjoy the great outdoors don’t miss walking or cycling the Camel Trail which runs from Padstow to Bodmin. You can hire bikes from Wadebridge or bring your own and store them securely in the little shed.
