Inside Story

This stunning converted coach house is bursting with character with bespoke joinery, high quality furnishings and beautiful accessories throughout.

The sitting/dining room on the ground floor is the heart of the house with a lovely wood burner, cosy corner sofa and rustic dining table. Beside it the simple shaker style kitchen is home to a wood- pellet boiler, an eco-friendly and beautiful feature. (It looks after itself so don’t try to put logs on it please!)
Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms, a super king and a twin which can also be presented as a super king on request. The simple yet elegant first floor bathroom and ground floor shower room complete the picture.

Outdoor Living

Woodfield Coach House sits within the grounds of the owner’s home within 8 acres of parkland (some of which is accessible to guests) on the slopes of a wooded valley. Lounge on the south facing lawn or stroll through the orchard at the rear of the house. The heart shaped hot tub is tucked away from view in a sheltered spot overlooking the paddock behind the house.

Out and About

This is a chance to kick back and unwind but if you feel like getting out and exploring there is plenty to do within easy driving distance. For active types we recommend Siblyback Lake on Bodmin Moor for fishing, windsurfing, wakeboarding and kayaking. Both Bodmin and Dartmoor are fabulous for walking, cycling and horse riding or simply looking out for the gorgeous moorland ponies and foals. Nearby Liskeard, is an ancient market town mentioned in the Domesday Book where you can hop on the Looe Valley Line which winds its way through a beautiful wooded valley to the coastal hotspots of Looe and Polperro.

Adrenalin junkies should head to the aptly named Adrenalin Quarry where you can jump off a cliff or fly down a 150ft zip wire! Apparently it is suitable for all ages. Or head to nearby Kartworld at menheniot for some go-karting fun. For more sedate activity the National Trust properties of Lanhydrock house and Cotehele house have beautiful architecture and stunning gardens to explore. If beaches beckon, head to Looe, Seaton, Talland Bay or Whitsand Bay, all of which are within easy driving distance.
